The Minnesota Gophers are the college sports team for the University of Minnesota. See a basketball game at Williams Arena, hockey at Mariucci Arena and Gopher football at TCF Bank Stadium. In 2007 the Gophers wrestling team won the NCAA national championship and the Big Ten team title. The Gophers also won conference championships in men's hockey, men's golf, women's rowing, men's swimming and diving, and women's indoor track and field.

Even when school isn't in session, there is plenty to do in Stadium Village. Plan your own activity with an affordable, fun, quality, safe paintball experience at Splatball. Splatball is one of the oldest paintball companies in the world, featuring a climate-controlled, 10,000 square foot urban combat arena as well as the largest retail store/tech center in Minnesota.
